RESOLUTION DENYING PETITION REQUESTING ENVIRONMENTAL
ASSESSMENT WORKSBEET (EAW) FOR
WEST MEDICINE LAKE PARK PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Environmental Quality Board received a petition requesting an environmental
assessment worksheet (SAW) dated May 5, 1995, and the city received the name petition on
May 71 1995, and
WHEREAS, the project can only proceed after receiving permits from the City of Plymouth,
Bassett Creels Water Management Commission, the Minnesota DNR, the U.S. Cotps of
Engineers, and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and
WHEREAS, no material evidence has been submitted showing that the proposed development
of West Medicine Lake Park presents the potential for significant environmental impact,
NOW, THBRSFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it does hereby determine that there is no need
for an environmental assessment worksheet for the proposed development known as West
Medicine Lake City Park.
