CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 95- 332
AWARD CONTRACT FOR MANGANESE GREENSAND
CENTRAL WATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the receipt of bids for the purchase of manganese
greensand for the City of Plymouth.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the State Statute bid specifications were prepared and
distributed and the bid proposals received and opened on May 10, 1995 and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
BIDDER TOTAL COST FOR 500 BAGS COST PER BAG OVER 500
Tonka Equipment Co. $16,483 (excludes sales tax) $33
Bergerson-Caswell, Inc.. $22,076.25 (includes sales tax) $50
WHEREAS, the bid from Tonka Equipment Company was in conformance with the City
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the bid from Tonka Equipment Company is
declared the lowest responsible manganese greensand bidder for the total cost of $19,030.49
including sales tax for 542 one cubic foot bags.
FURTHER, that the funding is as follows:
