APPROVING SITS PLAN AlvUiNDMENT FOR SUBURBAN HENNEPIN REGIONAL
PARK DISTRICT FOR PROPMTY LOCATED AT FRENCH REGIONAL PARK, 12615
COUNTY ROAD 9 (95026)
WHEREAS, Subuiban Hennepin Regional Park District has requested a Site Plan Amendment
for property located at French REgional Park, 12615 County Road 9; and
WHEREAS, such amendment would permit an outdoor storage area directly west of the
existing Park Maintenance Facility, located in the northern portion of French Regional Park;
and
WHEREAS, such outdoor storage area would contain wood chips, topsoil, aggregate, and
other similar materials routinely used in park maintenance operations, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Site Plan
( Amendment for Suburban Hennepin Regional Park District for property located at French
Regional Park, 12615 County Road 9, subject to the following conditions:
1. The Site Plan Amendment is for a 140 -foot by 170 -foot outdoor storage area on the west
side of the maintenance shop, as shown on the plans received by the City on April 14,
1995.
2. The landseape/scmening plan shall be ravised to place the additional trees adjacent to the
northern edge of the outdoor storage area, and is subject to approval by the City Forester.
3. The materials stored in the outdoor storage area shall not exceed ten feet in height.
4. Any subsequent phases or expansions acs subject to required reviews and approvals per
Ordinance provisions.
