RESOLUTION NO. 9S - 256
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT
PEONY LANE FROM HIGHWAY SS TO NORTH ACCESS
TO WAYZATA HIGH SCHOOL
CITY PROJECT NO. 502
WHEREAS, the City has approved the concept plan for the construction of a high school
for Wayzata School District on Peony Lane north of the CP Railroad; and
WHEREAS, adequate transportation access is required to the proposed school; and
WHEREAS, Peony Lane will provide this access; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Peony Lane from Highway 55 northerly to the
north driveway access to the school, including a grade separation of the roadway at the CP
Railroad; and
WHEREAS, a Preliminary Engineering Report is required to define the necessary
improvements, including street, bridge, drainage, and watermain and their estimated cost.
NOW, THPIWORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; That the proposed improvements be referred to
Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the
City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a prelimhary way, as
to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and its estimated cost thereof.
FURTHER, that the work be in accordance with the existing "Engineering Service
Agreement" with the City.
