RESOLUTION NO. 95- 2S3
AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE UTILITY BILL PRINTING AND MAILING
SERVICES TO LASER IMAGES
WHEREAS, the City advertised for Requests for Proposals for experienced mailing service
companies to provide the printing, folding, inserting and mailing of the City's utility bills; and
WHEREAS, two proposals were received and opened on March 30, 1995; and

WHEREAS, Duplex Products, Inc. does not have a production facility in the Twin City area,
and Laser Tmages complied with the request for proposal specifications, has a production
facility in the Twin City area and the price is reasonable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Finance Director is authorized to enter
into an agreement with Laser Images for:
Base price, Fixed Image Rate $ .14
Development $ 2,700.00
Forms and envelopes:
Invoice $18.06/M
#10 outer envelope $29.20/M
N 9 BRE $25.30/M
Deliveries to Post Office $25.00 each
Total estimated first year cost for 116,000 utility bills $27,957
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funding for the utility bill printing and mailing
service be provided from the Water and Sewer Funds.
