WHEREAS, ISD 0284 (Wayzata) has requested approval of a Site Plan Amendment
and Conditional Use Permit Amendment to allow expansion (one 3,000 square foot
addition and one 3,500 square foot addition) and remodeling at Birchview Elementary
School, 425 Ranchview Lane North; and,
WK11REAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called
Public Hearing and recommends approval.
NOW, nOREFORE, BE IT HMMY RESOLVED BY MIB CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve
the request by ISD #284 (Wayzata) for a Site Plan Amendment and Conditional Use
Permit Amendment for two building additions and remodeling at Birchview Elementary
School located at 425 Ranchview Lane North, subject to the following conditions:
1. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and
violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
2. Submission of required Financial Guarantee and Site Improvement Performance
Agreement for completion of site improvement within twelve months of the date
of this Resolution.
3. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and
approval.
4. Compliance with the Ordinance regarding the location of fue hydrants and fire
lanes, and fue lane signage.
S. This resolution approves a Variance to the Fire Code requirement for a fine lane
within 50 feet of all sides of the building.
6. Submission and approval of fire flow calculations prior to issuance of building
Permits.
7. This resolution amends Resolution 93-362, item 6, to extend the expiratic.! date
of the temporary Conditional Use Permit for the "relocatable" (trailer e)
classroom building from June 30, 1996 until September 1, 1997.
