HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1995-236• ( CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION No. 95 - 236 CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS 1995 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM (ADDITION OF PROPERTIES) CITY PROJECT NO. 501 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted March 21, 1995 fmal plans were ordered for the improvement of certain streets in Maintenance Districts 25, 29, and 36, and Ranchview Lane from Gleason Lake Road to north of 7th Avenue based upon the 1993 Pavement Management Biennial Update; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, certain properties adjacent to Ranchview Tame were not notified of the proposed improvement; and WHEREAS, an improvement hearing is required to add these properties to the approved project; 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such project in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property within the designated 1995 Street Reconstruction Program area for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,727,690. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 18th day of April 1995 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements is required by law, Adopted by the City Council on April 4, 1995.
