SCHOOL r FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
NORIHWEST INTERSECTIONOF PEONY LANE AND THE SOO LINE
RAILROAD
WHEREAS, the Independent School District 284 (Wayzata) and the City have
requested the addition of 130 acres to the Metropolitan Urban Service Area and
reclassification of 161 acres from LAR (Rural Density/Agricultural) to LA -1 (Low
Density Residential) for property located at the northwest intersection of Peony Lane
and the Soo Line Railroad; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called
Public Hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE, CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve
the request by Independent School District 284 (Wayzata) and the City for the addition
of 130 acres to the Metropolitan Urban Service Area and reclassification of 161 acres
from LAR (Rural Density/Agricultural) to LA -1 (Low Density Residential) for
property located at the northwest intersection of Peony Lane and the Soo Line Railroad.
FURTHER, approval of the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment is contingent upon, and
subject to, the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
Adopted by the City Council on March 21, 1995.
