CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION NO. 95- 206
APPROVAL OF BID FOR THE 1995 LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the receipt of bids for the 1995 Landscape
Maintenance Program; and
WHEREAS, as in accordance with the State Statute, bid specifications were prepared and
distributed and bid proposals were received and opened on March 10, 1995, and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:

WHEREAS, the bid from Isaacson's Lawn Care are in conformance with the City's
specifications.
( NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the bid from Isaacson's Lawn Care is declared
the lowest responsible bidder and accepts their bid in the amount of $17,198.00 for the 1995
Lawn Maintenance Program.

DISCUSSION: Advertisements were posted on Febre.my 22, 1995. Bids were received and
opened on March 10, 1995 for landscape nuintenance of various municipal sites. We
received three bids, the low bid was Isaacson's Lawn Care of 10515 Co. Rd. 116, Rogers,
MN. 55374 for $17,198.00. This is within the Park Maintenance Budget of $18,000.

BUDGET IMPACT: The total cost for landscape maintenance is: $17.198.00
1. The Park Maintenance Fund has $18,000.00
2. The actual bid is below budget.
3. There will be no negative impacts on the 1995 Budget due to this bid.
t RECOMMENDATION: I recommend the City Council approve the Landscape Maintenance
Bid of Isaacson's Lawn Care for $17,198.00 for the 1995 season.
