WHEREAS, The City Council approved thf: application to the Minnesota Department of
Transportation for funding of this project on whalf of the City of Plymouth on October 17,
1994, and
WHEREAS, the City Council resolved to at --t as sponsoring unit for Greening Plymouth's
Entryways project, and
WHEREAS, the execution and approval of A greement No 73219 is a mandatory step to attain
funding for the landscape material for this piuject.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, 'hat the City of Plymouth enter into Agreement No.
73219 with the State of Minnesota, Departrnent of Transportation for the following purposes,
to -wit:
to provide for a lump sum payment of $5,528.00 by the State to the City for the acquisition of
landscape materials to be planted along Trunk Highway No. 494 at the Carlson Parkway
interchange within the corporate City Iii nits in accordance with the plans, specifications and/or
special provisions designated as the 'Greening Plymouth's Entryways" project, and in
accordance with the State's "Community Roadsides Enhancement Partnership Program", State
Project No. 8808-14.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE property City Officers are hereby authorized and
directed to execute such agreement.
