RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
1994 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT NO. 401
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
Certain streets in Maintenance Districts 11 and 15, and Thoroughfare
Guide Plan streets including Vicksburg Lane from Schmidt lake Road to
County Road 47, also 27th and 28th Avenues located south of T.H. 55
between Fernbrook Lane and Niagara lane and 25th Avenue between
Dunkirk Lane and County Road 101.
by the reconstruction of bituminc•!rs streets and all necessary appurte races, and the
contract price for such improvement is $1,461,664 and the expenses incurred or to be
incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $273,334 so the total cost of the
improvement will be $1,734,998 and of this cost the City will pay $1,236,468.48 as its
share of the cost;
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to
be $498,529.52.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement
against every accessible lot, piei.•e of parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the
Council thereof.
