WIHIItEAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a public bearing regarding an
amenI ment to the 11wroughfare Guide Plan Map of the Transportation Element of the
Comprehensive Plan to: 1) malign the segment of Schmidt Labe Road which lies between
Peony Lane North and Vicksburg Lane North to the north side of the Soo Line Railroad
Tracks; and 2) extend Holly Lane North between Old Rockford Road and the maligned
Schmidt Lake Road; and
VAMRBAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the report of the City staff and the City's
traffic consultant regarding impact of such Transportation Pian Amendment, and has made a
recommendation;
NOW T EMBFOM BE IT HERESY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby Goes amend the
Transportation Element of the Plymouth Comprehensive Plan to realign Schmidt Lake Road
and extend Holly Lane North, as shown on the plans for File 94157.
FURTHBR, approval of this amendment to the Transportation Element of the Comprehensive
Plan is contingent upon, and subject to, the required review and response of the Metropolitan
Council.
Adopted by the City Council nn February 21, 1995.
