RESOLUTION NO. 95- 73
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Safety seeks Council authorization to designate
certain areas as available for snowmobile use within the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the Committees for snowmobile use on Parkers Lake and Schmitt Lake have
agreed these two lakes can be open for the use of snowmobiles with the following rules and
regulations:
1. Snowmobile use prohibited within fifty feet of any maintained ice skating rink or shoreline
structure such as docks, boat houses, et cetera.
2. Public education of the snowmobile ordinance be published via legal newspaper as well as
direct mailings to registered snowmobile owners within the City of Plymouth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, that it designates the foregoing locations for snowmobile use
pursuant to Section 1325.03, subd 2 (a) of the City Code.
