HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1995-0610 CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 95-61 AUTHORIZING THE PRIVATE SALE OF PARCEL 13-118-22-21-0310 TO ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNER WHEREAS, Hennepin County has provided the City with a list of nonconservation properties which have become tax forfeit as a result of nonpayment of property taxes and/or special assessments; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Council's Tax Forfeit Land policy, each parcel has boar reviewed; and WHEREAS, parcel 13-118-22-21-0310 does not serve a public purpose; and WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of returning tax forfeit parcels to private ownership whenever possible. NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that it hereby: 1. Declares Parcel 13-118-22-21-0310 to be unbuildable from a zoning and city code perspective. 2. Authorizes the private sale of said parcel to the adjacent property owner. 3. Requires that the adjacent property owner execute covenants for the parcel that the parcel is not eligible for development. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council affirms the non -conservation classification status by the Board of County Commissioners, and certifies that the parcel does not need to be withheld from sale pursuant to M.S. 85.012, M.S. 92.461, M.S. 282.01, Subd. 8, M.S. 282.018, Subd. 1, or M.S. 282.018, Subd. 2. The Council certifies that it does not know of any wells located on the property. Adopted by the City Council on January 17, 1995.
