HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1995-060• CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 95-60 AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF PARCELS 12-118-22-23-0038 AND 13-118-22-13-00549 TO 71M CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR PUBLIC USE WHEREAS, Hennepin County has provided the City with a list of nonconservation properties which have become tax forfeit as a result of nonpayment of property taxes and/or special assessments; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Council's Tax Forfeit Land policy, each parcel has been reviewed; and WHEREAS, parcels 12-118-22-23-0038 and 13-118-22-13-0054 are unbuildable parcels; and WHEREAS, the parcels have a public purpose. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that it hereby: 1. Approves the classifications made by the Board of County Commissioners of the parcels of land described as nonconservation land. 2. Declares Parcels 12-118-22-23-0038 and 13-118-22-13-0054 to be unbuildable from a zoning and city code perspective. 3. Requests conveyance to the City of Plymouth for the public uses shown below: 12-118-22-23-0038 Storm Water Drainage Purposes 13-118-22-13-0054 Street Right -of -Way BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council affirms the non -conservation classification status by th,;; hoard of County Commissioners, and certifies that the parcel does not need to be withheld from sale pursuant to M.S. 85.012, M.S. 92.461, M.S. 282.01, Subd. 8, M.S. 282.018, Subd. 1, or M.S. 282.018, Subd. 2. The Council certifies that it does not know of any wells located on the property. Adopted by the City Council on January 17, 1995.
