RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 52
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
26TH AVENUE IM ROVEMEWS
STATE HIGHWAY 169 TO MEDICINE RIDGE ROAD
CITY PROJECT NO, 601
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on June 25, 1994 the City's
Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Assoc., Inc., has prepared
plans and specifications for the improvement of 26th Avenue from State Highway 169
to Medicine Ridge Road by the installation of a 32 foot wide roadway with concrete
curb and gutter and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for
approval;
NOWo THEREFORE, BE IT HERMY RESOLVED BY 11M C17Y COUNCIL 67
THE CITY OF PLYMOUM, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, aro hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upc n
the making of such improvement under such approved plans ar. d
specifications. The advertisement shall be published twice, shat' specil t
the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City
Cleric until 10:00 a.m, on February 9, 1995 at which time they will be
publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymou!h City Center
building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City
Man Ser and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with
the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashler's check, bid
bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the
amount of such bid.
Adopted by the City Council on January 17, 1995.
