APPROVING SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
PEACE LU'T'HERAN CHURCH
PIN 18-118.2240-0004
MEDINA ROAD IMPROVEMENT'S
CITY PROJECT NO. 010
WHEREAS, In 1992, after holding an assessment hearing the City Council levied special
assessments against the Peace Lutheran Church property (PIN 18-118-22-43-0004) for the
beaeftt received from the Medina Road Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the assessments were for the benefit that the property received for the public
improvements; and
WIMEAS, Peace Lutheran Church appealed the special assessment to the District Court;
and
WHEREAS, A proposed settlement has been mutually agreed to between the City and
Peace Lutheran Church which provides for a reduction of the assessment to $32,500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY TRE CITY COUNCIL OF THIS
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the settlement agreement is approved and
the Mayor is authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the City.
