RESOLUTION NO. 94- 809
APMOVING THE 1995 CLASSUICATION AND COMPENSATION
BOI. MGMATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth uses a job evaluation in order to determine job
vahm; and
WHEREAS, this plan is in compliance with Minnesota Statute 471, comm y known
u the *PAY BgAty Lw•; and
WHEREAS, the classification and compensation plan has been updated to reflect
changes to the 1994 and 1995 budget proposals submitted to the City Council for
review; and
WHBRBAS, in keeping with good management practioe, City employees and
volunteers are sometimes rewarded for suggestions, good safety practices, longevity
and good service; and
WHEREAS, volunteers are also recognized for their service to the City;
NOW, THEREFOR& BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,MMMOTA, that it should, and hereby does:
1. Approve the 1995 Classification and Compensation Plan attached hereto.
2. Direct& the City Manager to proceed with the ongoing implementation and
maintenance of the plan and its components.
3. Approves continuation of volunteer and employee recognition programs as
budgeted.
