RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION AND PRDAARY
CONTACT PERSON TO THE CO>rMNUNrrY ROADSIDE LANDSCAPING
PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
WHEREAS The City Council approved the itidation of the fbat phase of the project identified
as ' Greening Plymouth's Entryways" in Februsury, 1994. and
AND WHEREAS The •Greening Plymouth's Entryways' projax will improve ma entryway
to Plymouth along tnmk highway 494 at Carlson Parkway, and improve the aesthetics of the
local community, and increase stewardship for the environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNC11L OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City of Plymouth acts as sponsoring unit for
the project identified as Greening Plymouth's Entryways on the state bw* highway 494 and
Carlson Parkway, to be conducted during the period of October 17, 1994 through lune 30,
1995
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, Lara Carlson, Forestry Teclumian, is hereby authorized to
apply to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for funding of this project on behalf of
die City of Plymouth.
Adopted by the City Council on October 17, 1994.
