HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1994-658al CTIY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 94 - 658 ADOFMG ASSESSMUEN73 BRMIZWOOD FARM 3RD ADDITION wit RBBT AND UTHM EWMOV11M39NT CITY PROJECT NO. 304 WHEREAS, We have received a waiver of Assessment Haring from the property owner of Bridlewood Farm 3rd Addition waiving their right to special assert hearings ooveimg the the imaalladon of strew with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, unitary sewer, and watermain and all other appurtenances; NOW, SORB, BE IT HE1=Y RESOLVED BY THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CPIY OF PLYMOUTH, 1vII 4MOTA: 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the leads named therein and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of S years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1995, and shall bear into" at the rate of 7.00% per annum from the date of adoption of this assessment resolution. To the fust installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1995. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installirma. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment to the City Finance Director, except that no interest shall be chr•ged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution a d he may at any time thereafter pay the City Finance Director the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must be made before November 30 or interest will be charged through December 31 of the next succeeding year. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assssmeats shall be collected and paid over in the sr •Ne manner as other municipal taxes. 5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this resolution is: Streets with Concrete Curb and Gutter, Sanitary Sewer, Waterrnain and Storm Sewer 5468,436.37 Adopted by the City Council on October 17, 1994.
