CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION 94. 617
ORDE RUNG PUBLIC REARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A PORTION OF NORTHWEST BOULEVARD RIGHT-OF-WAY IN
THE SOUTHEAST QUADRANT OF NORTHWEST
BOULEVARD AND SITH AVENUE
WHERBAS, the City Council authorised construction of the screening fence along
Northwest Boubvard south of 54th Avenue; and
WHEREAS, construction of the fence was contingent upon the acceptance or
ownership by the &*Wog property owner; and
WHEREAS, in order to construct the fence at the top of the slope it was necessary to
construct the fence in a portion of the right-of-way of Northwest Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, M.S.A. 412.851 authorizes the City Council to vacate public right-of-
way; and
WHEREAS, the bgal description of the right-of-way proposed to be vacated is:
That part of Northwest Boulevard as dedicated with the plat of BASS I AKS HEIGHTS
4TH ADDITION, Hennepin County, Minnesota lying southeasterly of "Line 1" and its
extensions, lying northerly of "Line 2" and its extensions, and lying easterly of "Line
30. Said "Line 1 ", "Llne 2% and "Line 3" are described as follows:
"Line V is a line run front a point on the northerly line of said Outlot B
distant 18.0 feet northeasterly of the moat westerly comer of said Outlot
B to a point on the westerly line of aid Outlot B distant 22.0 feet
southeasterly of said most westerly comer.
"Line 2" Is a line run from the most southerly comer of Lot 1, Block 3,
acid BASS LAZE HEIGHTS 4TH ADDITION to a point on the
westerly line of aid Oudot B distant 163.0 feet southeasterly of the most
westerly comer of said Outlot B.
"Line 3" is aline ran from the most westerly comer of Outlot B, said
BASS LAKE HEIGHTS 4TH ADDITION to a point on acid "line 2"
distant 44.0 feet southwesterly of the most southerly corner of said Lot
1, Block 3.
