WKWMAS, Layout No. 2, County Project No. 8424 slowing the proposed improvement of
County State Aid Highway No. 9 within the Waits of the City has been prepared and presented
to the City.
NOW, TiiBR SPOM IT IS RBSOLVBD: That said Layout No. 2 be in all things approved
and that Herutepin County is hereby authorized by the City to acquire all rights-of-way,
permits and/or easements required for said improvement in accordance with said layout No. 2
subject to the following:
I. Construct berms along the roadway to provide screening to a4iacent
properties except where it cannot be done for design reasons or where
night -of -way cannot be obtained without cost.
2. Crn2ruct a traWsidewalk along the north side of the road.
3. Review and report to the City on the feasibility of constructing a
pedestrian underpass at approximately Juneau Lane.
4. Provide sc,eaning along the southerly side, of the roadway at
approximately Juneau Lane to roplaoe the :crooning provided by the
existing area of trees. Both landscaping (trees) and fencing should be
considered to provide this screening.

Two walls shout be Considered during the find design to law the
removal of substantW size trees along the property line.
6. Water quality treatment ponds designed to accepted standards should be
constructed with the projact to treat the storm water runoff from the
roadway.
7. Construction Will be undertaken in the least destructive and loss intrusive
Weans possible.
8. Appropriate landscaping/aesthetic improvements aro to be made in the
project wherever possible.
