RESOLUTION NO. 94 - S02
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Safety seeks Council authorization for
the City Manager and Director of Public Safety to execute the second year grant for
a Cadet Apprenticeship Program (CAP) with the Juvenile Justice Advisory
Committee.
WHEREAS, in June of 1994, the department re-applied with the JJAC for
continued funding of the Cadet Apprenticeship Program, and
WHEREAS, the Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee has awarded the City
of Plymouth a grant Irl the amount of 114,157.00 to renew funding for the Cadet
Apprenticeship Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing the
City Manager and the Director of Public Safety to execute the second year of
funding for CAP by accepting the Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee's grant
award in the amount of $14,157.00.
