HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1994-484CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION % - 484 NG PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF ROLAND STREET RIGHT OF WAY AND ALLEY IN BLOCK 1 W11THIN SCHI$HS'S HIGHLAND VIEW ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Thomas A. Gedde of Jenson, Hickan, Oedde, and Scott, P.A. on behalf of Holiday Station Stores, has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following: Roland street fl&-cf-way and alley in Block 1. That part of Roland Street, as dedicated in the plat of Schiebe's Highland View Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying northeasterly of State Trunk Highway No. 55, southeasterly of the southwesterly extension of the northwesterly line of Block 2 of said plat, and northwesterly of the centerline of Florence Avenue, as dedicated in said plat, extended across said Roland Street. That part of the northeasterly half of said Roland Street lying southeasterly of said centerline of Florence Avenue extended and northwesterly of a line described as commencing at the intersection of the centerlines of said Florence Avenue and said Roland Street; thence southeasterly, along said centerline of Roland Street, a distance of 61.60 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence nnorthwiy, deflecting to the left 135 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds a distance of 43.29 feet rad said line there terminating. That pan of the alley in Block 1, Schiebe's Highland View Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying northeasterly of State Trunk Highway No. 55. AND WHEREAS; the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, MEMFORB, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THB CITY COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of September 12, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
