SCHMIDT LUM ROAD CONSTRUCTION "18)
WHEREAS, the developers of Fernbrook Woods tad Addition, as required by the Cky,
proposes to fill wetlands for the construction of Schmidt Labe Road; and
WEMREAS, the aligm m of Schmidt Lake Road was approved by Resoludoo No. 92-1098;
and
WHEREAS, City Council found that an EMS was not required for the road development to
proceed in the new realignment by Resolution 92-109; and
WHEREAS; there are no reasonable alternatives for the location of Schmidt Lake Road; and
VI EREAS, a Mitigation Plan was prepared replacing the wetlands in kind at a 2 to I ratio
which is required by the Wetland Conservation Act of 1991; and
WHEREAS, the Replacemeu Phan meets the requirements of the Wetland Act.
NOW, TH=13FORE, BE IT iiE MY RESOLVED BY THE C17Y COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor m authorized to execute the LOUIS
Findings of FacWReplaoement Phan, approving the filling of wetlands and the Replaceneat
Plan for wetland restoration in Fombrook Woods 2ad Addition for the construction of Schmidt
Lake Rod.
