HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1994-452CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION % - 4 S 2 ADOPTING ASSZSSMF1VTS SANITARY SEWEit AND WATSRMAIN CHARGES PIN 12-IM22-23.0001 CITY PROJECT NO. 41 WHEREAS, We have received a waiver of Assessment Hearing from the property owner of 12-118-22-23-0001 waiving their right to special assessment hearings covering the commecxioo fees for sanitary sewer service and W other appurtenances; NOW, TIMSPORB, BB rr HE B3Y RBSOLVBD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein and each tract of had therein i eluded is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of d a assessment levied aping it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 3 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1995, and shall bar interest at the nate of 7.00x per annum from the date of adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1995. To each subsequent Installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any tine prior to certification of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment to the City Finance Director, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this reac lution and he may at any time thereafter pay the City F°mance Director the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment Is made. Such payment must be made before November 13 or interest will be charged through December 31, of the next succeeding year. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assmnent to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. 5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this resolution is $1,610.50 Adopted by the City Council on August 1, 1994.
