ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
STREET. UTI ITY9 AND TRAIL EASEhIENTS
PARCEL 17-118-22434=
WHEREAS, purswnt to M.S.A. 412.851, Brian Johnson of McCombs Frank Roos and
Associates, Inc. on behalf of the Presbyterian Church has petitioned the City Council
for the vacation of the following street, utility, and trail asemMU:

That part of the west half of the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 17, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County,
Minnesota lying north of the south 415.6 feet thereof and lying south of
the north 208.7 feet thereof. Also that part of the north 208.7 feet of the
west half of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section
17, lying west of the east 208.7 feet thereof, except roads.

A permanent easement 140 fleet in width for street and utility purposes
over, under, across, and through that part of the above described
property lying within 60 feet to the left and within 80 feet to the right of
the following deacdbed Line: Commencing at the southwest corner of
said southeast quarter; thence north along the west line of said southeast
quarter a distance of 772.71 feet to the point of beginning of the line to
be described; thence northeasterly deflection angle right 44 degrees 07
minutes 55 seconds a distance of 73.36 feet; thence northeasterly 456.15
feet along a tangential curve concave to the southeast having a radius of
1145.92 feet and a central angle of 22 degrees 48 minutes 27 seconds;
thence northeasterly tangent to said curve 243.45 feet; thence
northeasterly 371.63 feet along a tangential curve concave to the
northwest having a radius of 1145.92 feet and a central angle of 18
degrees 34 minutes 53 seconds and said line there terminating.

A perpetual easement for public midway purposes 80 feet in width over,
under, across, and through the above described property the centerline of
which is described n follows'. Commencing at the anter of Section 17;
thence south along the west line of the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter thereof a distance of 949.47 fast to a point of curve; thence
southeasterly along a tangential curve concave to the northeast having a
radius of 525.00 feet a central angle of 32 degrees 07 minutes 29

seconds an arc length of 477.62 feet, and a cord which bears south 26
degrees 04 minutes 19 seconds east to the point of tangency; thence
south 52 degrees 08 minutes 03 seconds east a distance of 322.24 feet to
a point of curve; them southeasterly along a tangential curve concave to
the southwest having a radius of 890.00 feet a central angle of 20
degrees 38 minutes 46 seconds an aro length of 320.70 feet and a card
which bears south 41 degrees 48 minutes 40 seconds east to the point of
tangency on the west property line and there terminating.

A perpetual easement for public roadway purposes over, under, across
and through the put of the above described property lying northwesterly
of a line described as follows: Commencing at a point on the west
property line distant 24 feet south from the northwest corner thereof;
thence northeasterly to a point on the north property line distant 6.0 feet
east of said northwest corner and then terminating.

Together with a pegx teal easement 20 feet in width for public trail
purposes over, under, across and through that part of the above
described property lying parallel with adjacent to and northeasterly of a
line parallel with and distant 40 feet northeasterly of the above described
centerline.
AND WHEREAS; the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be
in order;
NOW, '[HEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Oil
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does,
establish the date of August 13, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymoutl
City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of
said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as
provided by law.
