Adoption of 1991-1998 Capkal Irprcvemaots Program
VAE RZAS, the City of Plymouth has developed a Capita Improvements Program for
the year 1994 - 1998; and
WHEREAS, the proposed 1994 - 1998 Capita Improvements Program was reviewed
by the Planning Commission to asw= its consistency with all local comprehensive purrs;
and
WHEREAS, the proposed 1994 - 1998 Capita Improvements Program was the subject
of public comment at a public hearing on May 25, 1994; and
WHTREAB, the Planing Commission approved the 1944 - 1998 Capita
Improvements Program with the following conditions:
• eliminate the Zachary Lane Corridor Study .
• mandate that '.aehary Lane remain a two lane road•vay with the addition of trails or
sidewalln and with turning lanes if future engineering studies indicate that safety would
be improved
• advance the Zachary Lane projects in the CIP by one year with the exception that the
southerly section be linked to Hennepin County parks funding
• delay the 38th Avenue connection to Northwest Boulevard until 1998
WHEREAS, the City Council amended the "Street" by moving the Porposed
Constriction of Xenium Lane from Vinewood Lane to Northwest Boulevard to 1998
NOW THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Plymouth,
Minnesota that the 1994 - 1998 Capita Improvements Program for the City of Plymouth is
approved, subject to the conditions set forth in this resolution, and a000rding to the pruject
Usti attached to this resolution.
FURTHER, that the Project Funding as proposed is approv„d.
