CITY OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION 94-280
DECLARING PROPERTY SURPLUS AND
AUTHOREMG CONVEYANCE OF THE SURPLUS PROPERTY TO THE
ADJOE41NG LAND OWNER
WHEREAS, the City puechased approximately 30 acres of land for Zachary Park in 1950; and
WHEREAS, the location of New County Road 9 severed approximately four acres of this
parcel which now lies south of New County Road 9; and
WHEREAS, the City las attempted to sell this land in the past to no avail; and
WHERBAS; the City has now received an offer to purchase this property for a price of
$45,000 per acre; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to sell this property at this time.
NOW, THERBFORB, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THB CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the above described property is hereby declared surplus and that authority
is granted to convey the above described surplus property to JANCO, Inc. for
the purchase price of $45,000 per acre or approximately $150,000 total.
2. That the proceeds of this We be returned to the Park Dedication Fund.
Adopted by the City Council on May 16, 1994.
