It would also require purchasing and removal of the house on tbdr kit; mW WHEREAS, Minnesota Department of Transportation NnNyn owes the hod southwesterly of and immediately adjacent to the Mdnbardt lot, a part of which would be needed for the future highway SS frontage road and a pact which would be severed by said frontage road and would be excess to the needs of MnDOT or the City of Plymouth; and WHEREAS, William aarl Baadn Meinhiafdt have proposed and requested to the City of Plymouth that the right of way needed over their lot and their bouse be purchased at this time and that the uq us MnDOT property be acquired and traded to them as partial payment for the right of way needed over their property. WHEREAS; it is both cost effective and mutually bendicW to acquire the right of way at this time versus waiting until the road is actually constructed and then pay relocation costs u well as market value for the property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: As follows: 1. That authority is granted for the staff to acquire the bone and right of way over the existing Meinbardt lot for the net purchase prim of S38,250- 2. That authority is granted to acquire the surplus property from MnDOT for the price of $1,300. The description of the propay is attached. 3. That the above described property is hereby declared surplus property and that authority is granted to convey the above described surplus property to the owner of the immediate adjacent property owned by the McWhardts. • 4 That conveyance to Primo Partift as Partial Payment for other Right -of Way is considered a public use of this property. S. haat the surplus property shall be combined with the Meinhardt's lot to become one tax parcel. 6 Financing for the payments shall be from the Tax Increment Financing (T.I.F.) District which includes this f am project. Adopted by the City Council on May 2, 1994.
