WHEREAS, the City Council has approved funding of personnel and operating carts as put of
the 1994 Budget for an engineering design division within the Engineering Department; and
WHEREAS; the fuoctioo of said division is to do engineering design for the Street
Rmonstruction Program; and
WHEREAS, during 1994 Budget deliberations it was proposed that the funding for the capital
equipment necessary to operate the division would be appropriated from the General Fund
Reserve; and
WHEREAS; because of tax abatements the General Fund Reserve did not increase as
projected; and
WHEREAS, funds are available within the Project Administration Fund which are appropriate
for the capital equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That $73,000 from the Project Administration Fund
to purchase the capital equipment for the Engineering Division function is approved.
