HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1994-138CITY OF PLYMOU'T'H RESOLUTION % -138 • APPROVINO LAWS OF &11NNBSOTA 1993, CHAPTER 230, RELATING TO TRAFFIC DEMAND MANAGEMENT WiERBAS, the City Councll of the City of Plymouth is the official governing body of the City of Plymouth; and, Wi1KREAS, the Mioneaota Legislature adopted ILws 1993, Chapter 230, which authorisxaa the cities of Bloomington, Bdioa, Richfield, Bdeo Prairie, Minnebo" Ma& Gme and Plymouth to establish tra Wmation demand programs for the purpose of reducing Mdnc 000gestioa, air and noise pollution and eMW consumption; and, WiISRBAS, the Plymouth City Camcd bu reviewed this legislation and finds that it would be bandicW for the City of Plymouth to have the authority W cube, administer, implement and enforce a transportation demand management program; NOW, THERBFORB, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA IN RBOULAR MEETING ASSBIII.BD: 1. That the City Council hereby approves Laws of Minnesota 1993, Chapter 230, which authoring the City of Plymouth to establish, by ordinance, a traffic demand management pmgmm. 2. That the City Cleric is heseby directed to fib a copy of this resolution with the Secretary of State together with any other required documentation pumunnt to Minnesota Statutes, Suction 645.021, Subd. 3.
