HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1994-034CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 94-34 RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF FRELIMINARY REPORT NORTH HIGHWAY 55 FRONTAGE ROAD RELOCATION EAST OF SOUTH SHORE DRIVE CITY PROJECT NO. 406 WHEREAS, Holiday Station Stores, Inc. has petitioned the City to make improvements to relocate the existing north Highway 55 frontage road adjacent to their property east of South Shore Drive with all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such project will be assessed for all or a portion of the costs of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, That the proposed improvements to relocate the north Highway 55 frontage road be referred to Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended. Adopted by the City Council on January 24, 1994.
