HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1993-779CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 93-779 APPROVING FILLING WETLANDS AND THE WETLAND MITIGATION PLAN FOR THE FLUIDYNE PROPERTY WHEREAS, Lundgren Bros. Construction, the owner of the Fluidyne Property, proposes to fill wetlands for residential develoment; and WHEREAS, there are no reasonable alternatives for the location of 47th Avenue, 48th Avenue, and Cheshire Lane to allow the reasonable construction of residential lots; and WHEREAS, a Mitigation Plan was prepared replacing the wetlands at a 1:1 ratio which is the minimi required by the Wetland Conservation Act of 1991; and WHEREAS, the Mitigation Plan meets the requirements of the wetland act. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Finding of Facts, approving the filling of wetlands and the Mitigation Plan for wetland restoration in the Fluidyne Property subject to: 1. Army Corps of Engineers Permit 2. Shingle Creek Watershed Commission Permit Adopted by the City Council on December 6, 1993
