RESOLUTION NO. 93-775
AWARDING BID OF GARBAGE TRUCK
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the receipt of bids for the purchase of a
garbage truck for the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, said equipment is required to adequately provide City services; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statute, bid specifications were prepared and
distributed and bid proposals received and opened on November 10, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
COMPANY
MacQueen Equipment Co. $39,193
K.E.I. Equipment Co. $39,550
A.B.M. Equipment Co. No Bid
Crysteel No Bid
WHEREAS, the bid of MacQueen Equipment is in conformance with the City's specifications
for this equipment and it is recommended that it be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA,
1. The bid of MacQueen Equipment is declared the lowest responsible bidder.
2. That the City hereby accepts the bid in the amount of $39,193 and funds for
this purchase are authorized from the Park Maintenance Fund 101-124.
