RESOLUTION 93-761
AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FINAL
STATEMENT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT (HUD) FOR INCLUSION IN THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994.
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is required to provide the Department of Housing
and Urban Development an application for the Community Development Block Grant
Program, including appropriate citizen participation, goal establishment and
implementation plans and procedures; and,
WHEREAS, on October 19, 1993, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment
Authority held a duly constituted public hearing to allow interested parties to express
their opinion; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendations of the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority regarding the proposed activities and program amount for
Fiscal Year 1994;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does direct the
City Manager to submit the application and Final Statement for the participation in the
Fiscal Year 1994 Housing and Community Development Block Grant Program for the
following projects in the respective proposed dollar amount:
1. Rehabilitation of Private Dwellings
a. Administration of Activity $ 7,000
b. Grants/loans to homeowners S 68.000

2. Child Care Assistance (Requested $30,000)
a. Administration of Activity $ 1,000
b. Child Care Assistance S 24.000`
Subtotal $ 25,000
3. Scattered Site Home ownership
a. Administration of Activity $ 5,000
b. Grants/loans to First Time Home buyers S 60.000
Subtotal $ 65,000
4. Plymouth Park & Recreation (Requested $9,500)
