HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1993-724CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 93 - 724 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERM11 FOR INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL DISTRICT 287 HENNEPIN TECHNICAL COLLEGE (93113) WHEREAS, Welsh Companies, Inc. has requested approval for a Conditional Use Permit for Intermediate School District 287 Hennepin Technical College for property located at 2905 Northwest Boulevard. The property is more specifically described as: That part of the east half of the southwest quarter and that part of the north% 3st quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 14 described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Block 2, Mission Trails; thence southeasterly, southerly and southeasterly along the westerly line thereof to the south line of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter; thence westerly to the southwest comer thereof, thence southerly along the east line of Lhe east half of the southwest quarter to the north line of Outlot A, Mission Ridge 2nd Addition; thence west along said north line to the northwest comer of the westerly portion of Outlot A; thence north along the extension of the most westerly line of Outlot A to a point 650 feet north from the south line of the southwest quarter; thence west at right angles with the east line of said east half a distance of 100 feet; thence northwesterly to a point on the north line of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter distant 600 feet west of the northeast comer thereof, thence north parallel with the east line of said east half to the most southerly line of Parkside at Medicine Lake; thence easterly to a southeast comer thereof; thence northeasterly, northerly, easterly and northerly along the easterly line thereof to the southerly line of 41 st Avenue North; thence easterly along said southerly line to the point of beginning. That part of the southwest quarter of southeast quarter of Section 14 lying westerly and northerly of the plat of Mission Ridge 2nd Addition. Outlot A, Mission Ridge 2nd Addition. All in Township 118 North, Range 22 West, Fifth Principal Meridian, Hennepin County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Welsh Companies, Inc. for a Conditional Use Permit for Intermediate ft File 93113, Page 2 • School District 287 Hennepin Technical College for property located at 2905 Northwest Boulevard; subject to the following conditions: 1. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. 2. The permit is issued to Intermediate School District 287 Hennepin Technical College for a vocational training facility for non -mainstream high school students and shall not be transferable. 3. The site shall be maintained in a sanitary manner. 4. All waste and waste containers shall be stored within approved designated areas. 5. All parking shall be off-street in designated areas which comply with the Zoning Ordinance. 6. The school facility shall be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a maximum of 30 students.
