HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1993-720CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 93-720 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF TRENTON LANE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY OUTLOT B AND LOTS 9 AND 10, BLOCK 1 SAGAMORE ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate Trenton Lane street right-of-way in Sagamore Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for November 1, 1993 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of November 1, 1993; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on November 1, 1993 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of Trenton Lane street right-of-way in Sagamore Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that the following street right-of-way is not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following street right-of-way be vacated: Trenton Lane lying east of the northerly extension of the west line of Outlot B. SAGAMORE, and lying west of the southwesterly extension of the southeasterly line of Outlot A, HAMM BERG ADDITION, according to the recorded plats thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. FURTHER, that said vacation shall not affect the authority of any person, corporation or municipality owning or controlling the electric or telephone poles and lines, gas and sewer lines, water pipes, mains and hydrants thereon or thereunder, to continue maintaining the same, to enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to repair, replace, remove other attend thereto. FURTHER, subject to a drainage and utility easement over, under and across that part of the north 6 feet and west 6 feet of said Trenton Lane lying east of the northerly extension of the west line of Outlot B, SAGAMORE, and lying west of the southwesterly extension of the southeasterly line of Outlot A, HAMA BERG ADDITION, according to the recorded plats thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Adopted by the City Council on November 1, 1993.
