HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1993-707CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 93-707 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS 1994 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM CITY PROJECT NO. 401 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted September 13, 1993, a report has been prepared by Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc. with respect to certain streets in Maintenance Districts 11 and 15, and Thoroughfare Guide Plan streets including Vicksburg Lane from Schmidt Lake Road to County Road 47, also 27th and 28th Avenue located south of T.H. 55 between Fernbrook and Niagara Lane and 25th Avenue between Dunkirk Lane and County Road 101 based upon the 1993 Pavement Management Bi -Annual Update; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on November 1, 1993. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such project in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property within the designated 1994 Street Program area for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $2,041,175. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 6th day of December 1993 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. Adopted by the City Council on November 1, 1993.
