RESOLUTION NO. 93- 631
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION
OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT IN
LOT B. BLOCK 1, LAKE PARK HEIGHTS ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of a drainage and utility easement
in Lot 8, Block 1, Lake Park Heights Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for October 4,
1993 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of October 4. 1993; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by
mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on October 4, 1993 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of a drainage and utility
easement in Lot 8, Block 1, Lake Park Heights Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement is not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following portion of a drainage and utility easement in Lot 8,
Block 1, Lake Park Heights Addition be vacated:
The southeasterly 6.00 feet of Lot 8, Block 1, LAKE PARK HEIGHTS, according to the
recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, which lies southwesterly of the
easterly 6.00 feet of said Lot 8 and northeasterly of the southwesterly 10.00 feet
of said Lot 8.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in
order.
Adopted by the City Council on October 4, 1993.
