RESOLUTION NO. 93-569
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
1993 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT NO. 301
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
certain streets including Vicksburg Lane from State Highway 55 to Schmidt Lake
Road, 36th Avenue from State Highway 169 to Zachary Lane, and Maintenance District
No. 6 located east of %enium Lane north of County Road No. 6 and south of State
Highway 55 in the City
by the reconstruction of bituminous streets and all necessary appurtences, and the
contract price for such improvements is $1,291,200 and the expenses incurred or to be
incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $215,666 so the total cost of the
improvement will be $1,506,866 and of this cost the City will pay $1,126,187.48.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be
$380,678.52.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be spacial assessed form such improvement
against every accessible lot, piece of parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the Council
thereof.
