RESOLUTION NO. 93-449
PRELD INARILY APPROVING THE APPLICATIONS OF ROTATION
ENGINEERING AND AMERIDATA FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth invited applications for Tax Increment Financing
Assistance in existing districts by Resolution 93-219 approved April 19, 1993; and
WHEREAS, four applications have been presented to the City as a result of that
application; and
WHEREAS, a staff team has preliminarily evaluated each of the applications with
respect to state statutes as well as City development plans and goals; and
WHEREAS, the staff review team has made recommendations for further consideration
of certain applications subject to the applicants agreeing to pay-as-you-go method, a 50-
50 sharing of increments, and costs of City review to be paid by the applicant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the applications of Rotation Engineering and
Ameridata be preliminarily approved subject to further evaluation by the City and its
consultants and the staff recommendation contained in the July 27, 1993 memorandum
from the City Manager; and that staff be directed to enter into negotiations for a formal
agreement to be presented to the City Council for final approval.
