RESOLUTION NO. 93-439
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 2 AND FINAL
NORTH CENTRAL TRUNK SANITARY SEWER - PHASE II
CITY PROJECT NO. 015
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Barbarossa and Sons, Inc. as
contractor, have entered into an agreement for North Central Trunk
Sanitary Sewer - Phase II, City Project No. 015, said agreement being
dated November 6, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified acceptance of the work and approval of
the final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $313,610. The
value of the work to date is $254,465.41 and is herewith
approved. This project underran the contract amount by
$59,144.59 or 18.8I.
2. That the work performed by the Contractor for North
Central Trunk Sanitary Sewer - Phase II, and certified
to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the
same, is hereby released from the contract except as to
the conditions of the performance bond, any and all
legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and
correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 2 and Final in the amount of
$144,616.05 to Barbarossa and Sons, Inc. for North
Central Trunk Sanitary Sewer - Phase II is hereby
approved and the City Finance Director is hereby
authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
Adopted by the City Council on August 2, 1993.
