RESOLUTION NO. 93-405
APPROVAL AND ACCEPTANCE OF ACCESSIBILITY EVALUATION FOR
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, AND DIRECT THE INCLUSION OF ADA
REQUIRED LANGUAGE IN CITY PUBLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Americans with
Disabilities Act evaluation; and
WHEREAS, public notice required has been done as per statute; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the ADA Accessibility Evaluation for the City of
Plymouth has been held; and
WHEREAS, the Accessibility Evi Ovation for the City of Plymouth will form the basis
for the City's ADA transition plan, as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the ADA requires the incorporation into City publications and documents
of certain language regarding non-discrimination against persons with disabilities, as
specified in the attachment to the resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Americans with
Disabilities Act Accessibility Evaluation is accepted and that staff is directed to
incorporate ADA required language as specified in the attachment to the resolution into
all appropriate city publications and documents.
