RESOLUTION NO. 93-401
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 6 AND FINAL
DEEP WELL NO. 11
CITY PROJECT NO. 909
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Layne Minnesota Co. as
contractor, have entered into an agreement for Deep Well No. 11, City
Project No. 909, said agreement being dated October 9, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified acceptance of the work and approval of
the final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $98,900. The
value of the work to date is $96,470 and is herewith
approved. This project underran the contract amount by
$2,430 or 2.45I.
2. That the work performed by the Contractor for Deep Well
No. 11 and certified to the Council by the engineer as
acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the
contract except as to the conditions of the performance
bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required
guarantees and correction of faulty work after final
payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 6 and Final in the amount of
$6,122.63 to Layne Minnesota Company for Deep Well No.
11 is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is
hereby authorized and directed to pay the same
forthwith.
