RESOLUTION NO. 93-389
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT IN
LOT 4, BLOCK 2, WEST RIDGE ESTATES SECOND ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of a drainage and utility easement
in Lot 4, Block 2, West Ridge Estates Second Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for July 12,
1993, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of July 12, 1993; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by
mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on July 12, 1993 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of a drainage and utility easement in Lot
4, Block 2, West Ridge Estates Second Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement is not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following portion of a drainage and utility easement in Lot 4,
Block 2, West Ridge Estates Second Addition be vacated:
DESCRIPTION OF DRAINAGE EASEMENT:
That part of Lot 4, Block 2, West Ridge Estates Second Addition, according
to said plat on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the
Northwest corner of said Lot 4; thence East, on an assumed bearing along
the North line of said Lot 4, a distance of 130.00 feet to the point of
beginning of the parcel to be described; thence deflecting to the right 90
degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds, parallel with the West line of said Lot 4, a
distance of 32.00 feet; thence North 89 degrees 58 minutes 46 seconds East
a distance of 43.00 feet; thence North 01 degrees 46 minutes 55 seconds
West a distance of 32.00 feet to the North line of said Lot 4; thence West,
along said North line a distance of 42.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Adopted by the City Council on July 12, 1993.'
