RESOLUTION NO. 93-384
REPLACES AND SUPERSEDES RESOLUTION 84-414
AUTHORIZES THE VACATION OF AN UNNAMED STREET IN
SUBURBANDALE ON PARKER LAKE
WHEREAS, the City desires to vacate the street right-of-way of a portion of unnamed
street as platted within Suburbandale on Parker Lake; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was held on July 2, 1984 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of July 2, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on July 2, 1984 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of said unnamed street; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that the unnamed street is not needed
for a public street is not needed for public purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Examiner of Titles for Hennepin County has requested a revision to the
description in Resolution 84-414 to clearly define the street vacated by said
resolutiol.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. That part of the unnamed street, as dedicated in the plat of Suburbandale
on Parker Lake, adjoining the northerly line of Block 5, in said plat
which lies south of a line drawn east from the northeast corner of Lot
15, said Block 5, to the northwest corner of Lot 3, Block 5 is vacated.
2. That said vacation shall not affect the authority of any person,
corporation or municipality owning or controlling the electric or
telephone poles and lines, gas and sewer lines, or water lines, mains and
hydrants thereon or thereunder, to continue maintaining the same or to
enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to repair, replace, remove
or otherwise attend thereto.
