RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
MOTOR GRADER
WHEREAS. the 1993 Central Equipment Budget contemplates the replacement of a motor
grader; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to State Statute, the Hennepin County Cooperative Purchasing Group
received and publicly read aloud sealed bids for the purchase of a motor grader under
Hennepin County Contract No. 2712A3; and
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board, upon recommendation of the County Purchasing
Manager, has awarded this bid to the lowest responsible bidder, Ziegler, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That it should and hereby does authorize the purchase of a motor grader
from Ziegler, Inc. under the conditions and specifications of Hennepin County, Contract
No. 2712A3.
FURTHER, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a purchase order in an
amount not to exceed $138,059.37 from Account No. 602-602-921 for the purchase of this
equipment.
Adopted by the City Council on July 12, 1993.
