RESOLUTION NO. 93-311
APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO THE 1993
CLASSIFICATION, COMPENSATION, AND PAY EQUITY
IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council has regularly appropriated for individual and joint
employee recognition activities; and
WHEREAS, payment of such funds to individuals may constitute compensation under
state and federal law; and
WHEREAS, the City's Auditors have recommended that all forms of compensation be
specifically approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate and serves a public purpose to recognize employees for
their achievements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does, approve this
amendment to the classification, compensation and pay equity implementation plan to
authorize the expenditure of funds to individual employees or for groups of employees
within authorized budget allocations.
Adopted by the City Council on June 7, 1993.
