HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1993-308CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 93-308 APPROVING WETLAND MITIGATION PLAN HOLLY CREEK 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, Scherber Partnership Properties, the owner of Holly Creek Addition and Parcel 17-118-22-31-0004, proposes to fill wetlands for residential development; and WHEREAS, there are no reasonable alternatives for the location of 41st Avenue to allow the reasonable construction of residential lots; and WHEREAS, a Mitigation Plan was prepared replacing the wetlands at a 1:5 ratio which is above the minimum of 1:1 required by the Wetland Conservation Act of 1991; and WHEREAS, the Mitigation Plan meets the requirements of the wetland act. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Finding of Facts, approving the filling of wetlands and the Mitigation Plan for wetland restoration in the Holly Creek 2nd Addition subject to: 1. Department of Natural Resources Permit 2. Army Corps of Engineers Permit 3. Basset Creek Watershed Commission Report Adopted by the City Council on June 7, 1993
